Reviews question

Have been wondering about reviews. Since we all know original content helps search rankings, it is possible for reviews that are submitted on our own stores can show ONLY on our own stores? This would let us do "staff reviews" for instance and create at least a bit of unique content for the product pages and could be a easy way for us to add some unique content for them.

I think most of the reviews are ones that were submitted on sextoys.com which is great as it does give us a lot of reviews to start with, but then adding our own would be an extra bonus.

you can do this already in a round about way ... but it will take effort on your part.

1st ... create a page that will be links to all your "staff reviews" and put a link to it in the header / footer so it shows on EVERY page.

2nd ... create actual pages that are reviews of a product with a link on that page right to the product. The review should contain all the important product information (keys points of the product description)

3rd ... use the slider widget to create a "buy now" widget on the page ... see an example here http://www.discrete-sensations.net/2014/11/2669/

edenfantasys.com has been doing this idea for a while and it works well for them, they have grown it to a point that you actually can get lost in the review section http://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/

I used to use a WordPress blog to do this at a separate domain ... but I have been debating just moving it back into the primary domain as I laid out above.

Unique reviews is something we are working on. Not sure how long it will be though.

We will have a place both above and below the product content to add your own HTML to each product page. This means you can add reviews, add your own unique description, videos, images, whatever.
