Default Customizations: Menu Tool Updated - Feb 2016

Yo Peeps,

The Menu Tool called "Menu Items" in the admin side bar can now be totally customized.

You can:
  • Remove categories and links by clicking the Green circle to turn off.
  • Add new links and menu items, by clicking the Green Button "New Menu Item". Choose link, Then add link name & URL.
  • Add category links & sub-category links by clicking the Green Button "New Menu Item". Choose Category, Then click to add Category or sub-category.
  • Reorder Menu by clicking on a menu item and holding to move it around to replace the order.

Note: The Menu will only stay on one line, so if you add many menu links, some will move into the MORE dropdown link.

Yes, you can create sub-categories and move them around.
Although, you can't remove top level cats links I don't think unless you remove the category itself.

I'll have to play with it move to find out.

Hi Domina, actually removed a custom menu I had on another site to give this a try (less code my page has to load). Anyways i guess that the only feedback I have is the ability to create Sub-Categories to Parent Custom menus.

I created Custom menus that go to custom pages i created. However I cant create a custom Sub-Category to this Custom Parent menu.

Not killing me really, just giving my 0.02

thevibratorstore.net: Ah yes, I see what you mean.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'll put it on the list for the next meetings.

LABE: Was that the same issue you were seeing? About the sub-cats?
