Question Left Nav Menu position

Hi everyone! I am a new affiliate with a problem so after reading everything about customization here on the forums I decided to register and delurk.

I need help with positioning the left navigation menu. I need it on the extreme left of the page, not inside the table / text area.

Can anyone please advise me on this?
Thank you!

I could be wrong but I don't think that's possible. You could turn it off, and customize your top menu, which is what I did to gain space.

Well you could add this to your CSS override:

.markermenu {
position: absolute;
top: 200px;
left: 0;
}

This will keep the left menu against the left side. I just used 200px as an example which brings the menu about half way down the page. However, keep in mind that various people use various screen resolutions.

It may look fine at let say 1280x1024, but at 1024x768, this setting would push the main stuff over and under your menu, and some content will be covered since the menu has now been absolutely positioned.

Thank you, I'm really glad you like it! It's nowhere near finished but I was actually inspired by your store (hope it's not too obvious). Loved what you did with it!

You're welcome I don't think a site is ever 'finished'....there's always changes and additions in order to keep things up to date

LOL, glad you like my site....and no, wasn't 'too' obvious
